Thunder roars across the violet sky
I witness rain in the distance
But none is hitting my head
Today would’ve been a good day
To climb back in the covers of my bed
But I recalled what the good book says
“sloth is a sin”

That good book, often fills us with sadness
Well perhaps that sky was the sign of trouble ahead, but much more likely a forecaste of rain ahead.
