My nose is running
My eyes itch
The tears are coming
My heart skips
Falling
I cry out
Not wanting what comes next
I fall to my knees a sob tearing from my chest
Agony wracks my body
Misery drowns my lungs
My throat closes over
My heart seizes
My eyes are open but I didn’t see
My muscles twitch
But I don’t feel
My lip is split but I don’t taste
My mind shuts down
My body numbs as my heart dies
So much pain too many lies
I’m exhausted
Sore and twisted with pain
I await my death with open arms
With a dull thud my head hits the ground
A miserable life ending
Another soul being freed
