Lights flicker in the background
Music takes over the beats of rhythm
Lurking in the corner sits my heart
Lost for days and parched for love
I am whirling quickly in my head
After being swept from my feet
Cannot run fast enough to escape this grip
Tightly the curves in my mind wind
I am lost in time with wings of flames
Burning my soul as the Phoenix rises from ashes left behind
