All The Time

He once told me,
"You're beautiful when you want to be"-
But I wanted to be, All the time.

And he stumbled through broken promises,
Made sure he shattered every bit of trust I had in him-
But I needed him, All the time.

He once kissed me,
And I swore my heart melted to my ribs-
Neverending lust, All the time.

And he ran away as fast as he could,
Didn't even leave a footprint-
But I thought about him, All the time.

He once called me,
"I'm addicted to your innocence" he echoed-
But I already knew that, All the time.

And he made it rain when it was sunny,
Let there be snow when it was 90-
So I kept changing, All the time.

He once lost control,
"I wasn't made beautiful by you"-
...And he misses me, All the time.
