Staring into Destiny

Passing by,
I made myself look away
Knowing you're better than me

Little did I know
That I was Juliet
Staring into destiny

Like a flare,
Her presence demanded
My undivided attention

Little did I know
That I was Romeo
Staring into destiny

You called,
Using my name
Startling me of your intelligence

Little did I know
That I was Juliet
Staring into destiny

Glancing upward,
She looked directly into my eyes
The intensity was nearly too much to bear

Little did I know
That I was Romeo
Staring into destiny

His eyes,
Staring intensely into mine
Made me realize

Little did I know
That I was Juliet
Staring into destiny

Her eyes,
Flaring with an unknown force
Made me realize

Little did I know
That I was Romeo
Staring into destiny

  • isn't that Clara's word? and again.... I didn't like the constant refrains... didn't give you a lot of time to absorb the essence of the other words.
