Twisting and turning unexpectedly
Impossible highs on top of the world
Gut wrenching drops to a seemingly endless bottom
The path in front just out of view
The track behind never to be ridden again
Hiding in the back row, holding onto the carriage
Or up at the front, screaming with joy
The ride seems long, like it will last forever
Speeding up every second, thrills more intense
But before you know it, the ride slows down
Everything levels out as the end is near
It’s all ended now as you float off of the ride
All the breath lost outside of your frail body.
You see the others lining up to get a taste
Just waiting to live, to feel the rush of life
Are you the one who was enjoying every second?
Or were you cowering with your eyes closed missing all the wonder?

This is a great poem. You have talent and insight. This world is all about pain and pleasure. When we take the temporal too seriously, we become upset. When we see it for what it is, we can enjoy it.
