and when you disappear
the beauty of your memory
stills my mind
like chrysanthemums in bloom
over a field of sea and sky
returning your shadow ~
your amazing life;
and I shall hear
a little music
when you sing me to your light.
You're that image
of time and eternity
bringing back the silence in my garden
and I feel you ~
the painter and poet of my dreams...

Wonderful, brings back fond memories of taking my youngest to the U.P. We came upon an area swarming with butterflies, if you stood still they would land upon you, simply magical.

Such a soft poem, reflecting the image of the butterfly.
and I shall hear
a little music
when you sing me to your light.
That brought a sigh.
Wonderful entry. Thankyou.

Lovely. "and when you disappear / the beauty of your memory / stills my mind"—this is a really fresh way to begin, since it's an ending, really. I like how you've divided your phrases, too, and your imagery is fabulous. (I also like how the end trails off, butterfly-like, with the ellipse...) Best of luck!!
