Fire rains down
from skies of red
you know what is coming
you know it's the end.
The seas turn to color of blood
and our loving creatures
return to the heavens above
replaced by demons in a massive flood.
People scramble to find security
standing on rooftops to avoid the waters
that flood the lands
and the demons slaughters.
No where to run
no where to hide
He has come
He will decide.
I saw the demons
as they walked through the land
tortured the evil
by His command
Have you been forgiven?
or will you go to hell?
repent while you can
so in Heaven you will dwell.

This was an actual dream I had but it was a bit more than I could put into words...I actually saw the end of the world in my dream and I have never been so scared of anything in my life.

that would be scary, the end of the world (I've had a few myself, they shake you to the bone). I think you captured it nicely. with so few words you really painted a vivid pic in my mind. nice. thanks for entering!!

This would be an amazing dream. You captured some of what the Revelation of John reveals will happen in those last days. What is really sad about that time is the Bible says that people clearly know it is the judgment of God and yet refuse to believe. Great job my friend and I am so g;ad you are writing again. That's pretty amazing imagery..I could definitely see the "hellgates" opening up. I'm not a very religious person either, but your writing is so dark, and it has so much weight to it, I can start to picture what the dream was like.

Good write my friend. I'm sure it was an intense dream. I saw a couple parts that slowed the read down. I won't say what or where they were. I'll just suggest that you give this writing a couple more read-throughs.

not a very religious person am I, but it was an interesting read nonetheless. my idea of the end of the world is pretty similar, but the demons i think of are more metaphoric and whatnot. idk. i'm weird like that. keep up the great work, and best of luck in the contest!
