ripple effect

All water creates a ripple effect
As do words
Becareful what you say

If no thought
No caution
Is involved in what you say
You can start something
You will easily regret
That you'll try to stop
To no prevail

Suicides
School Shootings
Battery
Murder
And many more things
They're dreaded and all too common
I've experienced all of these
Made others meet death
And have tried to make myself meet him, failed
Others have tried and failed as well
I escaped

I regret it now
Always did
Always will
I know this for fact

The only way
To stop violence
Is to never start
Or put a wave block
Try to appologize
And truely mean
What you say

Words you say
Actions you take
All have a ripple effect
In the sea of life

Spread a kind word
More importantly, a kind heart
Not blood shed
All words
All actions
Have a ripple effect

I was cleaning my room and I found an old poetry book, my first poetry book and it says in the front that i wrote it in June 2001
and in there were about 10 poems that i had completely forgotten about, lost in time and treasured relics to me, i'm adding them in now it in now
