(I)
Her lips shiver and her bones beg for warmth, be it sun or skin.
There is a hint of reluctance in the way her fingers latch round her heart,
But she glimmers with nonchalance and lets the seams unfold round her capillaries.
She threw away her hope.
Bundled it and decided that it only hurt her further to keep it.
So with snow, sleet and water,
She dampened it and made sure it was dense enough to throw.
Never again did she see that hope.
(ii)
He catches a weathered page being whipped away in the wind.
His palms are seeping crimson tracks where paper cuts pervaded.
With eyes donning fear, he carefully dedicated his eyes to the paper.
The ink was black and ran down the sides of the white.
The letters curled and stopped where letters should not,
And the words were placed incorrectly amongst phrases,
Which given the choice, should have never existed.
His heart lived and died all in one day.
(iii)
A winter breeze started around the ice then moved to land.
It is cold where they are.
