The Rise and Fall of The TimeLords

Out in the depths of the universe
Where strange aliens and odd planets are
There is a man, not in a ship or car
A man in a TARDIS
One with company yet always alone
He is brillant, and nine hundred he is,
Yet he has never grown

One man to another,
child he will always be
Come join him, just to see
Every step he takes,
he makes a new friend
You will only have to turn around,
and his gone round the bend!

Sontarans, Daleks and Cybermen,
Though they have been strong,
they have caused much death and wrong
Out comes the Doctor
Blue box and all,
just to see them rise
and make them fall

Yet he travels the universe,
content can be
Only to find he is alone,
thinking, oh my, only me
Time lord he is,
No one like him,
He once new many,
and lost them all
Time lords they rose,
and Time lords they fall

    cute

very lighthearted, glorious, then bam, you realize its not really in the end. i like it. reminds me of something i once heard in a movie, not entirely related but more on the alone theme. "everyone is the same as no-one"
