Childhood Requiem

soft pearl wings crudely torn out
crimson blood mixes with pure white feathers
sorrow scattered upon the wooden floor
painfully lost, the will to fly

diamond tears fall to mingle with chaos
cream coloured gown with midnight hue
dreams give to rampant nightmares
gone, the sweet innocence of childhood

  • i like your technique becuase that is what i love to read, those poem that come out of inspiration that dont just tell the picture in pretty words but create a story from a spark.

your word choice was amazing and really was a well written poem worthy of a some sort of medal
