Another Wound in a Dress

she needn't speak a greeting with her pale lips,
she waves hello with frail hips.
I imagine soft touches from thin finger tips
and kisses flavored sweetly with fresh wine sips.
when we meet we speak with sexual themes
but we're just adding fuel for that night's dreams.
something tells me she's more than she seems
pulling my strings in the grandest of schemes.

You kiss my ckeek but bite my nose
rub my feet but break my toes
in bed you moan the names of foes
you speak to me in angery tones
you care so little & my it shows
how much can I take? God only knows
Your spoken snare is set
And all the fibers reap regret
But still your malice makes me wet
As if we weren't done bleeding yet
I like it when you kiss my face
But wish your lips weren't made of mase
And though the pain makes my heart race
I doubt that you would like a taste
Now it will take some time I bet
Befor I'm able to forget
About the wretched trap you set
Which I will spring again I fret
Are you glad I fought?
I thought
You might be distraught
if you thought
the strife you brought
was all for not.
That's the reason why
I try to comply
and keep my outrage nigh.
You can't hurt me kid;
not like she did.
You can grab my throat
and block my breath,
break my bones
and pierce my flesh;
but of this much I'm sure:
you can't hurt me like her.
With a steel-toed brush
you could paint me a bruise,
coat me in hues
of brown and blue,
but you can't hurt me like her,
of that much I'm sure.
You're not the first to try
and sometimes, I hit a man.
I hope they understand
I'm not divine.
It's hard, I find,
to turn the other cheek;
to think my thoughts
and not to speak.
How do some men
remain so meek?

But my vigor lacks
and I relent me attack.
So let's cheers again
Raise your rusty tin
of mental gin,
good gentlemen.
Dim the lights for atmosFEAR,
the lights that sear
the retinas near
the holes that hear.
Like little hands
they pick things up
and grab the words that cut.
They cut the mind
like mental gin;
a twist of lime to coax it in
congregate
with foe and friend
to share the froth
of mental gin
while ears take in
tranquil HARMonies
of betrayal and chaos
that permeate the tension
between us.
Ballads that harm with ease
and don't pay off,
the subject is meaningless,
the breakdown is staccato; crescendo;
like shadow innuendo;
a dark hell-melody
murderous; contrivedly.
You're "in" though
Like voices you shouldn't hear
You're on board
like waves that sailors fear.
It would seem that schemes
permeate your routine.
When I want to find you
I find sides at odds
and look between.
But I accepted you;
Your ever increasing mass
and decreasing class
Tact; what the hell is that?
I accepted your promiscuous past,
Intelligence
was frivolous embellishment
and I accepted that!
Everyone knows you're nothing
but a wound in a dress,
too bad you won't implant a brain,
prosthetics don't impress.
Though I must confess;
you look your best,
but take away
synthetic breasts
and what the fuck is left?!
WHAT
THE FUCK
IS LEFT?!?!
You wear deception
like a perfect complexion.
Lure me in
between your thighs
to go down on your lies.
And those eyes;
they seduce.
You're body is tight
but so is your noose.

Please tell me what you think

    This is SOOOOO amazing! I loved this! I loved the wordplay, the rhythm, everything. This is positively the best poem I've read in years! Great job. I Really look forward to reading more from you.
