Her pleas for help muffled
by bandages made to heal
her fake smile slowly fading
to show her pain that’s real
barely holding herself together
with the noose around her neck
her sorrows weep from open wounds
in a black and red mess
the chair pushed from beneath her
by those who pretend to care
so young, with so much to live for
but she has nobody there
