I know that it's cold
In a world all alone
Friendly faces,
now unknown
As you walk down the halls
They point and they stare
Iggnorant morons.
Completly unaware
They don't know the truth behind those warm meaningful eyes
They don't feel the pain,
Of each teardrop you've cried
They can laugh all they want
And judge all they please
But babygirl,it only shows
That they're the ones who are weak
I wish I could say it'll be okayy
And everything will be fine
But I'd rather be your friend
Than a hypocrite,
And a liar
Nothing will be okay
And everything is not fine
Its hard to be a star
In a world that wont shine
Babygirl close your eyes
For at least you can dream
In a world where there is no one
You'll always have me
When you're lonley and you're sad,
And feel no one cares
Repeat after me,
I'll always be here

My name is Jenny and that's the exact way I felt when I got pregnant in 8th grade. Cool.

This is beautifully written in a very believable and conversational way. "It's hard to be a star / In a world that won't shine" is really nice, and I like the hint of rhyme in a few of the lines (they add a nice rhythm). I love the last two lines.
