The Leaf And The Wind

They all said she was a fragile leaf.
Blown which ever way the wind decided to go.
But they didn't know the truth,
That she was a rock pretending to be a leaf.
And the wind was content thinking she was strong,
That she won and proved the leaf a fool.
She never realized the real fool was her.
And the insignificant leaf was the one laughing,
In The End.

    Oh what a sad ending!
Lovely job, I love the tale you were able to tell in so few words.
    Bravo!

That was quite awsome actually, ambiguous and clever, the way you twist your own poem without cause or reason.
it might have been better if you had put a second stanza after that unravelled your mysterious story....but the fact that you didn't intrigues me.
a lovely piece thankyou for entering.
