My bestest friend has an obsession,
She thinks there's nothing sweeter.
Its a love for a baseball player,
By the name of Derek Jeter.
She has a wall in her room,
Dedicated just to him.
And with a bunch of other things,
It full to the brim.
She wishes she could marry him,
But she knows it will not be.
Drooling over him she'll stay,
That I can guarantee.
Her boyfriend Dan is a shortstop,
Her favorite position in the game.
I think that's sorta creepy.
That their positions are the same.
Derek Jeter is her life,
She is totally loco over that guy.
At the mention of his name,
She gets a sparkle in her eyes.
Along with the obsession,
She has the biggest crush.
On the man named Derek Jeter,
At his name she starts to blush.
