Sadness is hidden behind this smile
Nobody knows what truly goes on inside
Inside my lonely heart
Grief is hidden behind this smile
Missing loved ones takes over
Inside my broken heart
Fear is hidden behind this smile
I want to make it, make everyone proud
Anxiety sits in my chest
I'm anxious in my heart
When will the sadness, grief, and fear go away?
It seems as though it never will.
My heart will forever remain lonely, broken and anxious.
I want to smile because I'm happy, but will it ever be true?
