Author notes

I'm infected by your genetics.

One little note: I'm not an alcoholic. I don't drink. But my father was. I won't take any chances.

i know it's been a while since i've read your stuff, or even been online, but i want you to know that i love this poem. i was engaged until february and this poem speaks so loudly of what i just went through because of my ex. it reminds me of his drunken rage and all the times he laid a hand on my face... sounds so bad, but i love it for the truth it speaks. thank you

I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with that, but glad that this man is now your ex. No one deserves to be treated like that. It's really nice to see you back.
