Just promise me....

You walked into my life
You were always so quiet I never knew what to make of you
We would get trashed and then each night you would walk me home safely
I never even knew you liked me until you said something
Slowly and nervously I warmed up to you
How do I act when a guy likes me?
This had never really happened to me much
I never let guys in but I was so lonely
Oh so lonely and you walked in
You took my loneliness and made it non-existent
My favorite part of our nightly ritual is just lying next to you
Cuddling and talking about anything
You make me see that I am beautiful and that there is hope in my life
I'm not stupid nor ignorant
There's so much more to life than my dark abyss
I just want to curl up next to you and fall asleep so that it is all okay
Just promise me everything will be okay....
