whoosh
another life races by
just like me
unable to stop
unable to look around
wrapped within their own web
a tangle of worries and hopes and dreams
getting to the top
to busy to notice the sunset illumating the sky
how soon those vibrant colors die
where they there at all?

Life blows by so fast sometimes that we miss the few simple things that are truly worth enjoying.

I like this a lot.
The flow is cool and the ideas are relatable to myself and I am sure many others.
I agree with what you say about people being too busy to notice beautiful things. I find that a lot. People are so busy working toward something, they forget what they are working towards, lol. I am sure it will happen to me when I am older, though. I like the way in which you express this, too.
Good luck in contest!

A very nice piece, short yet full of meaning. Its very true that few of us ever take the time to just stop and smell the roses. Well done.

Excellent
I absolutely love the title and its connection to the poem. Who new economics was worth taking? Fantastic! Maybe write a follow up regarding regrets? -
this is very true and i relate to it immensely. it seems everything in the past is like a dream just because i can never concentrate on what really matters any more.
thank you for entering this neat, thought-provoking write,
cassidy
