Sparkling rays of sun pepper the ground
through the waxy leaves of a strong yet,
dainty cherry blossom tree
glittering white chairs rest on cool blades of grass,
broken evenly down the center, by an isle
adorned with lillies at each rows start
where the isle ends with the chairs
A simple archway, dashed with curled ribbons is
sparatically accented with softly colored flowers-
sprouting out of the archway, in an intricate pattern.
A preacher waits patiently- a smooth
countenance on hs face
to the left
a line of girls, women
dressed in lovely folds of silk
all holding 3-flowered boquets
all smiling with both
their eyes and their hearts
to the right,
a line of dashing men
stunnin in pressed onyx suits
only one stands out.
He is the first in line,
the biggest smile of all pinned on his lips,
the brightest light burns behind his eyes.
That well known tune plays-
less of a tune; more of a march,
which every girls heart dances to patiently waiting
for their feet to follow suit.
The silent witnesses twist towards the start of the aisle.
Under delicate beading, layers of chiffon and silk,
there she stands elegant in white.
Everything about her glows
with the simple, unconcentrated
Joy of this day.
confidently striding down this path,
this path of eternal bliss
The songs of the birds, the march, the 'oh's and 'ah's, even all the witnesses melt
into a dream like haze.
All she sees is him
her love, her destiny
the other half of her soul.
Today she will no longer,
continue to live as one half but,
join him to be whole.
Her life before him doesn't exist anymore,
all that's left is
...The Bride
.....The Groom
........The Happily Ever After
