I Thought I Knew

I thought I knew what love is But baby,
till I met you I had no idea.
Love is putting it all on the table,
everything you are, and alot of what your not.
Hopping, knowing that the other person
will happily take it all.
Always striving to be better
better then you ever thought you could be.
Doing any thing for that smile.
When I handed you that little packet,
that little message you would only understand.
You looked so sweetly and said yes,
I knew I found it, The love of my life.
