Swept up.
History won't record us, but we feel
Each chant, each poster, each mark on the ballot
Is putting ourselves in the books
right underneath The President.
We the people
understand firsthand
Not everything, perhaps
But the connection to each moment in the past and
That everything that happens from now
until 2012
Will have our fingerprints on it.
