The Calming of the storm

The storm has been raging,
as long as my heart has been beating,
constantly testing, trying my weeknesses,
slowly, gaining a hold over me,
as i grow weary and tired,
bored of the fighting,

Then, amidst the pain, my suffering,
somebody walked in,
shone like the north star,
is guiding me, helping me through
and showing me, that all i have to do,
is believe- show God that im with him,
and give him the time of day he deserves

And the storm, shall be calmed,
all the hardship- lessened,
devided in two.
for if you have somebody to hold you,
grasp you tight, life shall become easier,
not perfect, but alas, easier.

lay down and forget it all
life, pain, fear
I wish I could detach myself
from this world of mysery

forever in peace,
forever not having a care

I wish I could sleep with eternity
and live a life of peace and serenity
I wish eternally happy, I was
