I enter a cathedral hallowed and divine,
The majestic sanctuary calming this soul of mine.
To my knees I immediately fall,
Praying that God heeds my call.
As the sanctuary fills with my lament,
A humble priest enters and listens to me repent.
I continue to wage a war with sin,
The father, now knelt beside me, ready to help win.
When my prayer is said and done,
The priest blesses me in the name of the Father and Son.
"Holy Spirit" completes his blessing,
as the cathedral's bells begin to ring.
The priest helps me to my feet,
A scent of burning incense making the air sweet.
The Servant of God looks to me and says,
"In sin you no longer trod,
Humble Child of God."

Very nicely done, I love the way your words flowed through the keyboard like liquor. I think the emotion of the poetry was very heavenly. If I were you I would change around the 5th and 6th line and instead of what you have it would go like this " A humble priest enters and listens to me repent. the sanctuary fills with my lament,"
