beast

trivial; how life escapes us
and we search for
the meaning of the end
instead of what is now

we are...
we are monsters.
turned faceless when
facing the faces of
our triumfs.

Yes, we are often never happy with what we have, where we are...we want more. Tomorrow is always the place we attempt to reach. And we can be monsters, especially when we involve others...for example falling in love and then not being content and wanting to move on and find someone else...that is a beast by my definition.

Do you mean "triumphs in the last line?

I propose to be happy with who I am, what I have and who I love.
