He made me laugh
He made me smile
He turned my days of gray
to blue; My sun when it rained.
He was my light in the dark
casting a never ending light
over my heart and through the night.
He was everything
when I had nothing.

This poem is sad because of the fact that its past tense. It makes you realize that now that he is gone, you feel as though you have nothing. Although it feels as though there is more to tell, I wonder what it is?
