The human race is dark and light, ignorant and smart.
It’s wrong to look in judgment when we only see a part.
There is no doubt the darker sides can quickly taint a view
It leaves us sick, we wonder how they do the things they do.
I used to see the ugliness a world awash in black
Until I learned an utter truth before I used to lack.
Kindness and compassion, love and helping hands
sadly don’t sell papers in our greedy western lands.
Television rules our world and drama gets attention.
All the deeds of beauty really never get a mention.
For every war and every crime and all our dumb pollution,
there’s people in their millions with a higher constitution.
It doesn’t mean they’ve seen the light or found a holy way
A squillion acts of kindness are still happening today.
What we see is sadly what we're taught we can believe.
It really works in opposite no longer be deceived.
Reality is nothing more than what we hold in mind.
Change the way you see the world and look at what you find.
Stand up against the corporate, switch off the noisy box.
Think about a better world and slowly it unlocks.
If everyone would do the same and see the world in beauty,
we wouldn’t have to bury sons that suicide in duty.

So very well said. there is so much beauty around us, but we are so blind to see it all. and peace... this is really what touched me most. "bury sons that suicide in duty" knowing that their lives are in danger they are bound to serve for their country, just as suicide, if not then what else is it?
