this night

this night
no moonlit dreams
shine through the darkness so
deeply holding tight its clenched fist
this night.

    The strength of darkness,
    holding tight in control...
    a most visual concept...
    foreboding...

Yem thought I would appreciate your written voice and he was right.

I know the feeling well that you've captured so beautifully here. The moon is a muse for me and sometimes withholds her light for reasons I don't always see...at least immediately. Sometimes the night seems endless without the moon beams.

Mariza will like this poem...the tone is like some of her writing when she's in a pensive mood.

It's beautiful Mi, sad but beautiful. The moonlight clenching onto its dreams, keeping them away from us. And it's all too true sometimes.

You said you were having trouble writing but this is exceptional.
