Human Nature

So free and careless,
I go with the flow
like the moving wind in the sky.

So unbound and fearless,
I sing my song and fly
like a bird through the air.

With a mind so warm and bright,
I shine down and spread my awareness to all
like the brilliant rising sun.

Author notes

It seems I've been drawing a lot of inspiration from nature lately. The similes and metaphors of the outside world will never cease to amaze me.

    with this poem being one of your light and fluffy ones, yes it is good, but like the dark much more. I can relate toit more. so i would make this good and evil, playing the split personal that we have so well. all your work has amazed me into trying to find an emotion..go figure.

      Yes, it seems that lately I've been writing a lot of light hearted poetry. The irony is that I started writing poetry as a sort of release. I've been writing for 4 years now and I only started staring my work and even telling people that I wrote poetry in late 2007.
      Lately, my style is going any which way.
