Where is the respect

The guilt hangs heavy over my head,
you tell me that you would never tempt me.
Yet here you are,
pushing me towards sin.

You know I'm married,
and you say you respect that.
I find that hard to believe,
when you, yourself asked me to marry you one day.

Where is the respect,
has our whole world become without morals?

You tell me everything that you would do if I was your wife,
I tell you to hush,
because I don't care.
I stop answering your calls,
and reading your messages.

Where is the respect,
has our whole world become without morals?

Very good and strong poem. I agree with the Bible also. Intimacy is reserved for marrage.

A well written write full of deep emotion. This clearly portrays the struggles that i'm sure we all have at times, against our feelings and our conscience...

I hope you found some resolution for this part of your life.
