Diamonds twinkle across the pond,
birds twitter, talking to their Maker.
My heart floats along with the dancing clouds,
reminding me of why I'm alive.

The essence of spring in four lines! The pond is a peaceful center to the activity--an intimate water scene as compared to a lake, a river, or the ocean.
