Inner War

So alone,
and arfaid.
Don't know how
to live another day.

Tears leak out,
No more antiwar.
I WON"T live a lie anymore!!!

I'd like to explain this poem to readers because it might be hard to understand exactly what it's about. Sorry, I wrote it in my diarey thinking no one would read it.  It's about my freshman year and how I became more passive so I could fit in with more vairety of people better( I'm extremely opionated and stubborn) but I ended up bottling so much up I blew up at those closest and from that day I promised myself I would never lie or change myself for other. Haha, I know the explaination is longer than the poem, sorry it just didn't feel finished without it.

It is very easy to fall into line. As they say.. follow the party line & get along. But that being said, it can still cause one much anguish. Be true to yourself & never fear being a non-conformist. For they really are the free thinkers of the world.

It's alright... Poems are there as a release for our souls to bear what burdens us. In any case, it's alright and also a wise decision for you to keep yourself strong and true to yourself. And with that in your heart, there's no going wrong when you go through your freshman year!
