You look and feel
like a fragile angel
and as I am seduced by
your fine porcelain features,
I linger.
But then,
my pulse races
and I'm not sure
how you do that,
but I'm overcome
with these feelings
that seep through my skin,
melting my bones.
Maybe you time it so,
for then all your senses
crash into me,
in a waterfall
that rumbles and rushes
over the edges of mountainous rocks.
That's when I drown,
breathing becomes erratic,
but I know,
this is what life is.
