Shameful Society

I hear your words
through shallow walls,
like snailtrails, the vowels sliver,
penetrating my perishable skin.

Is this another conversation about me
& all my past mistakes?
Am I still blamed for being human,
in this world that is so imperfect
& still looks at me as it's foe.

I was an enemy of the masses,
for just being true to myself.

I hope heavens skies are Gold.
