Kiss My Cat

Once upon a time
there was an Egyptian cat.
He was of no pedigree but was my cat.
Bussa or Kiss was his name,
My fat cat.
Everyone made fun of his name
But Bussa the kiss acquired great fame
Everyone knew Bussa the fat cat,
But everyone mistook him for a pregnant she cat.
Since his tender age
He lived with a clan of dogs.
full of tenderness and love Bussa was
Jealous they were of him sometimes,
But loving they were a lot of times.
Bussa the kiss remained a naughty cat,
A skirt chaser par excellence,
A famous Don Juan in our neighborhood,.
roaming the streets in his immoral pursuits
Had Nermin worried about him .
He filled the street with his progeny.
One day Nermin decided to fix him..
Don Juan Bussa was heartbroken to lose his flair,
When neutralized everyone had nermin to blame.
Bussa Became a decent house cat,
He returned  back to his dog clan.
Satisfied? God knows, as he never complained.
To Nermin he expressed his love and in her heart
He was the sole cat to reign.

this is really so cute and funny too. thre were parts that build Bussas character that are so lovely in picturing him roaming around like all proud and arrogant and then i felt so bad for him when he got fixed

      thank you my dear

yeah Bussa walks happy with himself and as if unconscious of humans around him but if someone called him with love he would go to him right away, he loves love and to be loved. i felt so bad too when i had to put him through this. when i went to the vet they told me he was so sad, when he first saw me he looked at me blamingly but then rested his head against my shoulder, i refused to leave him there further and his own recovery was at home where he started slapping for no reason the dogs and driving them crazy till after almost a couple of month he went back to his own loving self what could i do, otherwise he would have kept roaming the streets and he was very sick, he would have died, God forbid.

  • This is an awesome poem. This reminds me of my cat Hobbes, who passed away last August. He fathered a litter of kittens before he got fixed and became an indoor cat. I enjoyed the read!!! Thank you for entering my contest.

Dear David thank you so much

THe kiss is so funny yet poor darling when I took him for neutralization everyone blamed me, what could I do, he got pneumonia due to staying in the street chasing she cats. he came back skinny and coughing I had to do that. the vet told me it is important since I also have a clan of dogs and they all drink from the same water container, so that he does not bring illnesses and transmit them to him. also I was always worried about him and he always came back to me with a problem and dirty. but he is such a love.
thank you for reading it and liking it. the problem with those lovely creatures is that they are so sensitive and their life span is short and they always leave us broken hearted.
      thank you

      oh my dearest Queen

Yes I am sure Shakira would never like the story especially that Bussa is a charmer
but what to do to keep him away from the streets especially that he caught pneumonia due to that

Ahhh, I love cat stories. Poor Bussa lost his flair as a male,,,that is one way to keep him home at night. Enjoy this very much, thanks for sharing.

My dear Scarlett I missed you so much

thank you for passing by and reading it. Well that was the only way to keep him at home, the vet told me either to keep him out or do the operation to keep him in once for all and he came last time with pneumonia so it was the only choice although lots of people were angry with me but he brought me his babies and i have to feed them plus people in the building, some of them, would get really angry. now he is here back with the dogs
he is such a loving and tender one Bussa is
