Looks that last to long
Though they don't mean a thing
Conversations that where spoken
Only to be found pointless
Nothing that happens between us
Holds any significance in the end

Even so,

My heart still yearns for your presence
To hear your voice

With those bright blue eyes that I love
Simple touches that are never long enough

But you hold no feelings for me
This I truly know
My heart still aches when I think of it
Your rejection

Though you still hurt me
I can't help but smile when I see you

So I must try to move on
