Help me find it.........

Missing image

Has anyone round here seen it,
I could swear its not been long
since my muse had been lurking
right here where it belonged.

 

 

It seems I'd been distracted,
and when I next looked round,
there was a void, an empty space,
where my muse used to be found

 

 

It has to be out there somewhere,
is it lost or simply run away
all I know is at the moment,
my muse has surely gone astray

 

 

without it, my life is dreary
pen and paper are quite forlorn
with no muse here to delight them
they treat me with such scorn.

 

 

So while you are out walking
in town or where'ere you be
if you see it tired and weary, please
send my muse back home to me.

    Universal Cry for Love!

    "Help me find it..." is a delightful bit of folly while founded on a real cry for
    help!

    My Muse/s never leave me; it is I who leave the cherished, holy site of Love and
    find myself foundering in a sea of empty, battle scarred ships sailing aimlessly, until the Light of Love once again makes a nest in the Heart and Soul.

    I have enjoyed the reading of "Help me find it..." as it has reminded me once again that it ALL lies within ME and never Outside of Us.

    See now i can do something for you....
    it hides from us...
    but i know where it goes lass....
    it goes deep within ourselves when we take our hearts from our sleeves....
    once we leave ourselves vulnerable...our muse returns......
    I love this because it is so relatable...
    yes..only love can break our hearts....
    but if we never show our love our words will never return.
    We will forever be looking for the right words to say i love you
    because we wont show any one we do.

      Thank you so much Lowell, and the muse visits me occasionally now and then......when I let it out of the strong box on the shelf.
      Seems I have less and less time these days to set it free

    aww this deserved more than an honorable mention I love poems about lost muses mine ran away with yours but shes back so maybe yours came home to I hope cause mine said it was all yours fault LOL

    awwww well if your muse is missing me and my friend have a theory that you may not be feeding her right and is hidding in the refridgerator

    I don't think it ran away at all, it must having been lurking behind the sofa hehe.

    Excellent write you have here, nice rhyme running throughout and a good flow.

    I don't think she is too far away Ann, she's possibly 'on leave' looking for more inspiration for you - She'll be back!!

     

    When I find mine i'll ask if she's seen yours lol, that's where she is - she's come to Oz for another holiday!
