Golden rays of amber,
Crimson streams of love.
Kissed by the sunrise given,
I know God is up above.
Touched by Heaven's hand once more,
given life to live and hold.
Sweetened gift given thus
by Heaven's very own
Hands raised in supplication,
surrendering to the light,
as Hades' darkness falters
under Apollo's chariot bright.
