things i won't do today

it’s a reminder everywhere, between
the leaves of my notebook and the
sheets of my bed-
but you are no where to be
found and i have no intention of
waiting around for you to
be ready.
instead, they
saw you
scrawled in anxious print at the bottom
of a book about g-d:

I WISH THIS
WERE TRUE

  • god's lost his donut! i think you must have eaten it when you were writing this poem. cos i can see a crumb in between g and d.

i am going to frighten you now -

gOd - it's not so hard to use the o when typing

    a g(o)od poem.

    • Um, actually, it's generally considered inappropriate for Jews to type/write the whole word "G-d." I'm Jewish, and haven't always done this, but I'm starting to understand the reasons for it. So yes, there is no "o" in "G-d," and that is entirely intentional.
I'm glad you liked the poem, though.
