No one can love with out fear,
The fear of rejection,
Fear of betrayal,
Fear of being forgotten,
Fear of being hurt.
Love is hate,
The hate of fear,
Hate of leaving,
Hate of losing,
Hate of never knowing what to do.
To love is to feel,
If you cannot feel,
You cannot love,
If you cannot love,
You cannot see the world in a new light.
When your heart has hurt,
You feel like dying,
Love will come back,
Just wait for the love,
Wait for its warmth.
Love is what everyone strives to have, no matter the torment that person has been through,
Love with all your heart even if you are afraid,
Because somewhere you are loved,
Never forget that you are always loved by someone.

This poem is all telling and no showing. There's absolutely no imagery here which, in my opinion, is the one differentiating quality between poetry and non-fiction.
It's silly to get specific with a critique, because I'd have to offer something on every single line. Don't tell me so-and-so feels love... show me HOW they feel love via the use of the senses.
To love is to feel? Feel what? Feel how? These are the specifics, the all important specifics, you're leaving out.
Thanks for playing but this poem would, in my opinion, have to be re-written word by word to win my vote. -
I love this! It's a very different view on love. My favourite part is the last stanza, it really brings the message behind the poem to light.
Good luck and thanks for enterin
