Like anchors on the inside
My mind is going down
These heavy thoughts are weighted
And I fall without a sound
As I plummet to my downfall
And the ocean waves below
I bid farewell to sadness
And the silence it endowed
To think too hard is but a dream
But thinking has its faults
For the mind can carry biting things
Like fools, and rules, and thoughts
The thoughts I fear are mine alone
And never any yours
This paranoia haunts my soul
And like a weed, it grows
Author notes
The mind is a heavy thing to bear. Thoughts, they wear and tear.
