The day, as still as death
As I pull you closer I can feel your breath
I can hear your heart beating
Like music to my ears
I can feel your blood dripping
I can taste your fear
Your blood red eyes
Your terrified cries
Fills me up with pleasure inside
The sweet smell of roses scented in the air
Brilliant red on your blond hair
no one around, no one to stare
revenge is sweet but is it fair?
Reality kicks in, what have I done?
I let you go and watch you run

Welcome to AllPoetry!
This is a great poem - I really like the anger in this poem and the story that it tells
my favourite part was the realisation at the end
I enjoyed this poem!

you know spur of the moment things always seem so right... and then when you start to analyze what has happened its like "o s***!" lol I like this because it portrays well the emotions that occur at that time... and then the let down of what you actually did.... remarkable... thanks for sharing!!!
