(Verse)
Takin my time
Ridin this old train
They call life, making me think about this day
I’m writing it down
Taking two for the road
Keep my head held low
And my soul is sold
To the big scary man
With the two tone smile
On his little high horse
That’s about to go wild
I’m sweatin and im runnin
So fast from the law
And I can’t help but wonder
how I went this long
I’m about to die here
Without a drink
And the two that I took
I already drank
So sit down and be quiet
And listen to me
Listen good and hard
And I’ll set you free,
I’m saying
(Chorus)
I, could never, take you for another
And I, could, never be someone
And I, wish, wish upon a star
That you’ll come back
From that place so far
Up, in, the sky so high
But that’s just a dream
Where I can fly…
(Verse)
Its hard to imagine
That I’d waste away
And be one of those guys
That has no say
But I guess I can’t
Worry bout’ that anyway
Cause if I let it take me down
If I try so hard
It’ll always leave me,
With a scar
A reminder of the past
That id rather not bring
To my new found life
Unless I sing,
I’m singing

I'm working on it with my band (I'm the singer...although I may also play drums...) so if we end up recording it at all I'll let you know.
