I carry my burdens lightly
On shoulders used to heavy loads
Trying to love with all that I have
All that I am
Unsure if I can
Not sure what it means to do so

Confusing
My thoughts that run around
In my head
Not really certain what I just said
Half the time

There was a thought
Floating by
Don't know what it was
But it was there
I felt it
Heard it
Saw it
Sensed it somehow

Sigh
I don't know

But here I am
Just being me

Trying to love you with my whole being
And even though I'm not quite sure what that means
I'll keep attempting at it
