My winter,
my sweet vanilla cold.
The cinnamon of the season.
Red-faced amazement.
Bring back my winter.

Short and very expressive. I like the use of spices--adds another dimension. Creative interpretation of the prompt! Thanks for your entry and all the best!

This is so cool! I really like this bit:
"my sweet vanilla cold.
The cinnamon of the season"
Thank you so much for entering my contest, I love your poem! Good luck...

For it to be so short, the description was phenominal! I could actually see someone playing in the snow as their face would be beat red from the tempature (as they didn't care as long as they were outside having fun). I want to thank you for your entry into the following contest: "To Be Put On My Favorites List."

PS: Your entry has been blessed by the three wise clappers, but don't spend the whole nine points in one place(lol)!

I love it when people compare winter and vanilla. Those two just go together because of snow cream. I love snow cream. I love this poem. Maybe they go together too? Excellent write and good luck in my contest.
