Forever Lost in Me

The folly of your uttered words
It amazes me still
But for me, you suffered and writhed in pain
It was for me, and so I bent to your will

Your dark silhouette
It blows on the wind
With the wind; not with me here
Your soothing words of despair
Hurt me, break me, and haunt me still
But of you - your passionate wrath is all that I can still feel

And so I utter my last words
Your last words; our dreams
Of fallen Kingdoms...fortresses...cathedrals
Lost in hopes, you were forever lost in me

Your last words I remember
I was forever lost in your resonating screams
I was there at your last breath, your last words
You were forever lost in me
