In His Eyes

In His Eyes I am perfect, I can do no wrong
All my flaws and faults, In His Eyes are gone.
He thinks I am beautiful, outshining all the rest
Somehow he thinks that I am the best.
In His Eyes I am strong, I am the weaver of a spell
He tells me he loves me, and calls me his angel.
He says he's lucky, and thinks I'm smart,
And tells me I will be forever in his Heart.

But I'm far from perfect; I am not what he sees
A klutzy teenage girl; that is the real me.
I am no outstanding beauty, just an ordinary girl
No grace, or poise, just an average part of the world.
I falter and I fall, I wouldn't stand a chance
He is the one that saves me in life's confusing dance.
In His Eyes he wouldn't trade me for the sun,
But he's got it backwards, for I'm the lucky one.

    I love it to me it is spiritual but I might be wrong if you are talking about a guy. But either way it is really good and you deserved the trophy you got for this. Continue writing you are very good.

    Ok so I read the first five lines and said to myself what the hell am I doing. I should be adding this piece to the finalists. It's a wonderful piece you have hear. I love the last line "But he's got it backwards, for I'm the lucky one."
    Although I don't know whom this beautiful poem is talking about I know it's wonderful. I feel it's got something to with god but i might be wrong. Wonderful piece. I am not joking I am telling you exactly what I felt as I read this piece.
