you are made of stardust
exploding constellations
breathed in by trees
into the flesh of the animals you eat
we all are, but it shows on your face
in your mother of pearl teeth wrapped up in pink shell lips
your frozen lake orbs dappled with sunshine
baby chick feather lashes and hair
your long coltish limbs bending bowing flower stems
every inch of you
sandy teacup
lamb's ear soft
you are elusive but warm
a willow-the-wisp drenched in desires not your own
you are everything i have ever wanted to be
i can hardly believe that you're real
tiny sparkling ballerina
camille raised up from the depths of my soul
a pink phoenix from ashes that failed at being you
it's as if you were made for me to look upon in longing
and envy
you glow in the kelly cast of my skin
wishing you were
stupid cruel as aryan as your face
only makes me uglier, dirtied with contempt and
ogre tears
so that not even the stardust embedded in my heart and soul can be seen
